The annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which kicked off its first weekend on Friday, April 12, was heading towards its conclusion on Sunday, April 14. Meanwhile, the festival’s second weekend was set to start on April 19 and round off on April 21.
The 23rd Coachella Festival was hosted at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, a city located about 23 miles from Palm Springs.
For fans unable to attend in person, Coachella offered a live streaming option on YouTube starting April 12 at 4 p.m. (PST).

The lineup for this year’s Coachella included an array of performers like No Doubt, Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, and Doja Cat.
In a recent reveal, it became known that Rihanna is brimming with “visual ideas” for a forthcoming album. Since the release of her last album, Anti, in January 2016, fans have been highly anticipating her ninth studio album, a wait that has stretched over eight years.
As a new mother of two, Rihanna has indicated that her mind is awash with fresh concepts, yet she has yet to match them with actual tunes, suggesting a further delay.
“I have a lot of visual ideas,” she conveyed in an Interview Magazine discussion. “It’s interesting. My mind is working in reverse right now.
“Typically, I start with the music, and that leads to a plethora of visual possibilities. Now that I have all these visuals in my head, I just need to find the songs for them, but maybe that’s the approach I need to take this time.”
The venerated cover star expressed, “Maybe these visual concepts are guiding me toward the songs I need to create.”
Regarding her inspirations for the new music, Rihanna mentioned, “Eclectic thoughts, random concepts, notions that don’t involve me personally.”
“I don’t know yet. It’s watching and learning.”
Not long ago, Rihanna conveyed her enthusiasm for future projects, expressing that her upcoming album will mark a period of rebirth for her.
“I am in a phase of experimentation,” Rihanna told Complex. “It might also be a phase of re-exploration, considering everything is evolving so rapidly, and so much is being lost. And then there’s the unknown. Amidst all this change, there’s me.
“While I have yet to fully understand the metamorphosis, the anticipation of what’s coming excites me.”
“However, it’s hard to put into words, even though I am confident the journey will be worth it. This applies not just to new ventures in my day-to-day life or fashion, but to music as well. At the moment, I’m really looking forward to embracing the new.”
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s relationship was publicly confirmed in November 2020, after a history of collaborations and shared appearances at various events, including Paris Fashion Week in 2018.
